| Specimen Type: | Actively growing anaerobic organism in pure culture | ||||
| Collection Instructions: | Actively growing organism in pure culture in a sealed agar plate or slant. Specimen source required. Indicate suspected pathogen. | ||||
| Temperature and Stability: | Room Temperature; stable for 72 hours. | ||||
| Unacceptable Conditions: | Specimen from site with normal anaerobic flora. Aerobic conditions. Mixed cultures or non-viable organisms. An additional processing fee will be billed for all mixed cultures. | ||||
