April 27, 2018 -- Research has been a part of the State Hygienic Laboratory’s mission and service since it was founded by the state legislature in 1904. Now it is easier to connect with SHL researchers through a new page on the laboratory’s website. The Research page gives examples of how laboratory scientists conduct applied research in partnership with others in the field of environmental and laboratory science. The page features SHL’s staff’s recent journal articles, presentations and posters, and a general services brochure. Included on the page is contact information for some of the SHL divisions and offices that conduct research (Disease Control, Environmental Health, Newborn and Maternal Screening, and Research and Development). Questions about research and collaborations may be directed to laboratory representatives. |
